Welcome to Poko.ma ("Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services, including digital profile creation, resume generation (PDF/Word/HTML), and public link sharing.

By accessing or using Poko.ma, you agree to be fully bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of Service & Beta Version

  • Poko.ma is an independent technical tool currently operating in its Beta release.
  • The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding uptime, performance, or bug-free operation.

2. Accounts and Authentication

Account creation is processed strictly through Google OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your session on the Platform.

3. Acceptable Use & Content Guidelines

When using Poko.ma, you agree to adhere to the following rules:

  • Content Accuracy: You bear sole legal responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and authenticity of all text, experience records, certificates, and images uploaded to your resume.
  • Restricted & Sensitive Content: You strictly agree NOT to upload or publish:
    1. Fraudulent content, false credentials, or impersonation of another individual.
    2. Highly sensitive personal data (e.g., National ID numbers, banking details, medical data).
    3. Content that is defamatory, unlawful, obscene, abusive, or in violation of applicable laws in the Kingdom of Morocco.
  • Technical Integrity: Automated access (bots, scrapers) or security attacks aiming to disrupt our services, servers, or database infrastructure are strictly prohibited.

3.5. Username Rules & Guidelines

When choosing your username on Poko.ma, you agree to the following rules:

  • Format: Usernames must be 5–30 lowercase letters (a–z) only. No numbers, no hyphens, no special characters, no spaces.
  • Originality: You may not impersonate famous individuals, brands, organizations, or public figures. Usernames such as leomessi, cristiano, nike, google, etc., are strictly prohibited and will be reclaimed.
  • Reserved Names: Certain usernames (including system names like admin, support, and platform-related terms) are reserved and cannot be claimed.
  • Offensive Content: Usernames that are defamatory, abusive, obscene, or violate applicable laws will be suspended or deleted without notice.
  • Transferability: Usernames are non-transferable. You may not sell, trade, or lease your username to another party.
  • Inactivity: Poko.ma reserves the right to reclaim usernames that have been inactive for an extended period (to be determined at our discretion).

4. Public Profile Links

  • Poko.ma allows you to generate a custom URL (e.g., Poko.ma/username) to share your resume with employers or clients.
  • You acknowledge that information set to "Public Profile" will be accessible to anyone possessing your custom link. You accept full responsibility for sharing this link with third parties.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Platform Rights: All source code, design elements, algorithms, UI/UX templates, and the Poko.ma brand are the exclusive property of the developer.
  • User Content Rights: You retain ownership of all text, images, and data you submit. By uploading data, you grant Poko.ma a non-exclusive technical license to host, process, format, and display your content solely for providing the service (generating files and hosting public links).

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • No Employment Guarantee: Poko.ma is strictly a document formatting and hosting tool. We do not guarantee employment or participate in employment decisions between you and potential employers.
  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poko.ma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from data loss, temporary service interruptions, or file export issues.

7. Account Termination

Poko.ma reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, disable, or delete any account or public link that violates these Terms or contains fraudulent or prohibited content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Morocco.
